Instal Oct8ne into your website

Oct8ne can be integrated into any website in three different ways, depending on your platform and needs.

1. Via Plugin. If your website is built on one of the most common platforms, Oct8ne provides a specific “plugin/add-on” for each platform, which will provide your website with full chat integration. With this integration, you’ll have the script code automatically installed on your page, the catalog ready to use within the tool, order information, and sales pixels (in some plugins).

  3. Woocommerce (para Wordpress)
  4. Shopify
  5. VtexIO / Vtex
  6. and many more


2.- Using a script (integration snippet): If your website isn't built on any of the platforms mentioned above, don't worry—you can still install the chat on your website. To do this, log in to the Oct8ne control panel and go to the “Support --> Installation” section, where you can copy the installation script (snippet) and place it in the header or footer of your website.

Please note that in this case, you are only adding the chat’s MASTER code. At this stage, the product catalog integration, order information, and sales pixel will NOT be available for your website. We will need to take additional steps to make these features available, such as uploading a product feed (CSV or XML) or manually installing the sales pixel using an additional script.


3.- Via the Oct8ne API: If you don’t use any of the platforms mentioned above and prefer a full integration with all of Oct8ne’s features, you can develop your own plugin. This method of integration is designed for companies that have in-house technical staff or specialized agencies with strong technical expertise, as implementing the integration via API requires advanced technical knowledge.
