Integrations from the control panel

From the 'Integrations' section (Management > Integrations) within the control panel, you can automatically activate different auxiliary integrations such as: web analytics tools, CRM, and even Google Translate.



WEB ANALYTICS:

From this section, you can activate the Oct8ne events you want to monitor (receive) in your web analytics tool.
We currently integrate with:
  1. Google Analytics (Ga Universal y GA4)
  2. Webtrekk 
  3. Adobe Analytics (Omniture)
  4. Connectif
These events will be triggered from oct8ne to your web analytics tool, so you can collect them in the receiving panel.
You can configure these events by checking the corresponding box and saving the settings.



  1. VISITOR OPENS LIVE CHAT: An event is logged each time a customer opens the Oct8ne chat.
  2. VISITOR ASSISTED BY AGENT: An event is logged each time an agent communicates with a customer.
  3. VISITOR OPENS OR SUBMITS CONTACT FORM: An event is logged each time the contact form is displayed to a customer due to agent unavailability, and another event is logged when the form is submitted.
  4. VISITOR SELECTS A DEPARTMENT: An event is logged each time a customer selects a department from the initial list.
  5. ADD TO CART: An event is logged each time the customer or agent clicks the 'add to cart' button in the co-browser.
  6. PRODUCT DISPLAYED: An event is logged if, during the session, either the agent or the visitor submits products to the Oct8ne co-browser for both to view.
  7. POSITIVE RATING: An event is logged each time a customer rates the service they received from an agent positively.
  8. NEGATIVE RATING: An event is logged each time a customer rates the service they received from an agent negatively.
  9. RETURNING VISITORS: An event is logged each time a customer who has previously used Oct8ne revisits your site.
  10. ADDING A TAG TO THE SESSION: An event is logged each time an agent tags a session in real time.
  11. PRODUCTS VIEWED BY THE VISITOR: An event is logged each time a visitor views a product in the viewer without it being suggested by the agent.
  12. PRODUCTS SUGGESTED BY THE AGENT: An event is logged each time a product suggested by the agent is displayed in the viewer.

GOOGLE TRANSLATE:


Integration with Google Translate allows your agents to have conversations with customers in other languages.



If this feature is activated, all messages written by both the agent and the customer will be translated in real time and displayed in the language that corresponds to each one.

Once activated, the option to translate will appear in each agent's viewer. Each agent must activate translation from their own service viewer if they deem it necessary.





CRMs:

In this section, you can select the CRM you want to integrate with Oct8ne and configure it to receive tickets automatically and in an organized manner.

You will need to select the CRM you are using and fill out the form that appears on the screen. You will likely need data (URLs, API keys, etc.) that your CRM provider will need to supply.
