Install Oct8ne via Google Tag Manager (GTM)

To display the Oct8ne code on your page using Google Tag Manager (GTM), follow these steps:

1.- Open the GTM workspace, select Triggers from the main menu, and click the NEW button.

2.-  Click on the Trigger Settings section and select 'Page View' from the list on the right side of the screen.

3.- A selector will appear allowing you to choose whether Oct8ne appears on all pages or only on certain pages (for example, if you want Oct8ne to appear only in the 'Clothing' section of your page, select the latter option and then go to 'Page URL' -> contains -> 'Clothing' in the dropdown menus).




4.- Select a descriptive name for the trigger (e.g., Oct8ne Trigger), save, and then click on the Tags option in the main menu.

5.- Click the NEW button and add a descriptive title to the tag (e.g., Oct8ne Code).

6.- Click on the Tag Settings area and select the Custom/Custom HTML option from the list that appears on the right side of the screen.

7.- Copy the Oct8ne code (displayed in the Management/Installation section of the Oct8ne panel) into the text box that appears.

8.- Click on the Activation section at the bottom and select the trigger you created earlier.

This Oct8ne script code is for example purposes only. Some variables have been modified. Do not take it as exact!


9.- Save the changes and click the SUBMIT button in the top menu to publish them. The Oct8ne code will then appear on your website and you'll be ready to start serving visitors.
