Shopify: Activate sales pixel

A sales pixel is a small piece of code (also called a snippet) that is installed on your website to measure and record sales or conversions.

This code allows oct8ne to:

1.  Detect when a sale occurs.
2.  Record the purchase value.
3.  Associate the sale with a session within oct8ne.
4. Display statistics and reports within oct8ne.

In summary, the pixel is responsible for "notifying" the tool each time a sale is completed.

The Shopify Oct8ne plugin allows you to manually activate the sales pixel functionality.

To do this, follow these simple steps.

A.-  Go to the oct8ne plugin settings within your Shopify dashboard. You'll need to click on the Settings section > the word 'Instructions' (in blue).

B.- Instructions will appear on the screen that you must follow.

They indicate that you should go to the 'Custom events' section and create a new one, pasting the code provided.

And above all, don't forget to connect the event so it's ACTIVE on your website!

By following these simple steps, the sales pixel will be correctly installed.
